The Family Preservation Project aims to provide strategies and training through evidence-based programs to model prevention and resistance skills for youth discouraging underage drinking and marijuana use. The Family Preservation Project also increases knowledge and skills related to TIC (trauma informed care) for professionals, faith partners and caregivers.
The Family Preservation Project aims to, Respond, Inspire, Support and Educate (RISE) families and caregivers to use parenting, resistance and resilience skills to encourage family cohesiveness. This improves health and wellness within the African American community for youth at high risk of entering the foster system. We want our community to RISE! With your help we can do it.
