Tanner Thomas Village For Veterans will offer an exemplary level of support for veterans. Through its Community Resource Center, Tanner Community Development Corporation will provide a wide range of services to ensure vets have access to healthcare navigation and equity, supplemental nutrition assistance, human & social resources, economic self-sufficiency training, and job placement opportunities.
SNAP Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (Previously known as Food Stamps)
Who is eligible for SNAP?
Children, families and adults with limited-income may qualify. This includes seniors, college students, and refugees. You can apply for benefits even if you are living in a group home or are homeless. SNAP eligibility is mainly determined by income and household size. SNAP recipients must be US citizens or permanent legal residents. .
